Jörg Eismann, member of the OpNaQ group at Uni Graz, successfully defended his PhD thesis at the Max Planck Institute for the Science of Light in Erlangen, Germany. He graduated ‘summa cum laude’. Jörg and Peter Banzer, his supervisor and mentor, work together already for many years. After the successful defence of his PhD project, Jörg will stay with the group and keeps contributing to the CDL-SMBS as a postdoctoral researcher.
